RedPoppy owner, Nick Aburrow’s culinary career started in some of London’s top restaurants and the excellent and meticulous training he received has served him well in his career and for creating the success that is RedPoppy.
RedPoppy Restaurant was established in 2006 within the Strathpeffer Pavilion. It was a great achievement for Nick when he opened his own restaurant building in Strathpeffer in 2013 and RedPoppy Restaurant is well known locally for being one of the best places to eat out.
In addition to the restaurant, RedPoppy Catering is the highly successful outdoor catering branch of the business. Catering at over 100 events every year, RedPoppy offers a professional service with first class food. “We can cater for most events as we have all our own cooking equipment, cutlery, crockery and glasses” says Nick, “and we can travel throughout the area”

RedPoppy's Restaurant Manager is Fiona Christie. Fiona has been part of the team since 2007. As a student, Fiona returned to work at RedPoppy throughout the holidays and she loved working in the hospitality industry so much, that she joined the team full time after finishing university. Fiona has recently completed a modern apprenticeship in hospitality management. Fiona looks forward to welcoming you to RedPoppy Restaurant.
